I think that new files are always good to see, I think with the merger, you may see some added support.

Really glad to see the support from the factory on this baby. It's a sweet box with great video and smooth controls. Right now the channel changing is a little slow but no big deal. As other boxes have fallen with the new ECM this one has rolled right on through it. Nice work guys and you have a supporter and a happy and future customer.

New to this, just hooked up my box (bev) & entered the new file got sound on some channels but no picture. Thanks in advance.

Hey dude the Neusat is one box that likes to be perfect. Try this and I'll bet you get everything. Do a factory reset the file is in the file section so no problem. After that shut it down and then back up and load current #14. If you have good signal readings thats good don't reset the channels and rescan them. Now hit the little exit button on the remote, you may have to a few times until your key page comes up. You can scroll through all the keys if you hit the red button when the key screen is up. Make sure all the proper keys are there and they are correct. If you do all this there should be no reason you won't be watching TV . Just leave it on a channel with good signal if you hear sound that's a great idication you got it. You will probably see the annoucment on screen no or bad signal when you do in two seconds you will have picture. I hope all is good, enjoy.

Thanks, got to do it latter the wife has control of the tube now. One more thing, does using a HDMI cable give you better picture & sound.

HDMI gave me the best quality video that can be had with the receiver. As for sound probably the same as all modes. There is one advantage theHDMI interface gives you sound and the video all in one cable. That's nice with all other modes audio has to be run seperate.I allways thought it was a silly way to do things expesialy when they came out with svideo they failed to incorperate the sound connections in the plug. It would have been so easy, but no! - I assume that you have a HD TV there are quite a few people who always say they have sound and no picture. With bev it's quite common, but with Neusat 9000 HD it could be because you have standard deffinition TV and you have the settings on the box incorrect. Just incase I'll make you aware if you allready don't know of the "STEP" Button on your remote. It switches in between the video deffinition modes, so be aware. Hope you are all set .... Later..

I don't know what i'm doing wrong but i followed step by step & still nothing. The only sound & picture i got was the bev info channel. What are the keys I'm supposed to have & what nimiq, 1 or 2? I went out & picked up a HDMI cable thinking it would be easier, when i hit the source it gives me HDMI...DVD on the screen, is this normal. Right know i have a Viewsat Extreme hooked up to the tv (HD) Videotron HD Terminal & everything works great. I just want to replace the Viewsat with the Neusat 9000 hd, what am i doing wrong.

Ok let's try this one, been doing some reading & seen that with one 30 inch dish I can get both nimiq 1 & 2 for bev standard & HD on two different boxes on two different TV's(viewsat xtreme & neusat 9000hd) If so where should the dish be pointed & is the setup for both boxes the same.

What is standard channel, and what patch are you using to get the standard channels?

The standard definition channel with or without encryp.. i am no know what type the patch use for 110,119 ,and the steps for upgrade the neusat 9000hd.
