so get this...i'm an electrical engineer who specializes in hardware (i've ran from software for YEARS).
I'd love to try Linux, but don't know the first thing about it. Which Linux programs have had good testing results and which ones would you recommend? I absolutely hate windows (ergo, i hate software) and have been looking to switch. is it network friendly, etc?
