this is no a hijack i am talking about it here so you are good bud .. if you are new i would try madriva 2008.1 spring edition it is very nice .. easy to install now or ubuntu 2008 they also have a open suse11 it is ok but really if you can get ahold of a mandriva 2008.1 spring edition power pack for free that would be the best comes with all the software and codecs installed +drivers for most hardware ..

let me know what hardware you have ??
