rollup needs help

hi, trying to get my friends captain 8000 hd up and running ,we have succesfuly gotten bev 91 and 82 ,we get all info channels ,but we cant get the reciever to download any file ,if we use usb all we get is unknown file ,even if i use my usb stick which i know work,s on my captain ,it has latest file on it ,also if we try to load it through serial cable ,we bring up loader open file ,flick on switch and nothing happens ,any help is appreciated...

unzip the file
rename the file to APP_7710_down
place on usb stick
then she should load buddy

thanks arbor, but already tried that ,also when i go to user settings and go to autoroll options there is no auto roll option for bev or charlie , it starts at auto tp ,local map,usb download,full channel name ,also wont go to key info page when i hit exit exit ,i realy think ther is something wrong with the reciever ..

Remember to put receiver on a BEV channel first. Also, these things may not work without a program file loaded. Clear your stick or better yet, do a factory default with your stick in, then try loading per ARB.'s instructions

hello ... i now have installed the hd dish... but only seem to catch the regular channels.. for example can anyone tell me what channel discovery hd is on ... i dont seem to catch hd channels.
