Well I got an answer from the Dongle Team Which was surprisingly fast compared to usual

Question : Hey Guys How's it going? Dongle is down are you aware?

Response : Yes we aware the dongle is not functioning at the present time we are working on a new solution for fixing bell and dish nagra3.

Question: Well I am glad to see you guys doing some work and trying to improve the dongle. You should have let us know this before you decided to turn the dongle server off to do these updates.. Can you give me a time line as to how long they will be off??

Response : Yes we are sorry for not explaining what our plans were and that we were closing server. How long server will be off we do not know at this time we are in the middle of changing the whole format to work with nagra3 . As soon as we have more info we will let you know

Question : Could you have not used a test server for this Nagra3 testing? That to me seems to be more Reasonable and wouldn't effect the Captain Users...

Question : Hello are you still there?

Response : Yes but we are busy. We will contact you with more info as soon as possible

I'm testing a Captain 8000HD, I say if your working on Nag3, do what ya gotta do, no complaints here. Go get em Team Captain!

they have always been a good team. i guess you have to reinvent the solution when the game changes, glad to see they are taking a broad and new approach.

nice tell ya what if they can get it working for n3 i would get a cheap HD for the bedroom for bev only i have all the sats in the livingroom .. nice thanks for the info arb ..

all 3 captains have been working steady.
this delay is very uncommon actually,ever since the new captain coders started.
they actually go by the name:
Cheap Team Captain Coder

these boys have been rocking with releases as steady as other main stream units for quite a few months now.
the iks status reports have been poor best i can tell.-a different set of coders is used for this method of 3rd party support.
however i have read that they have had iks up during ecms pretty regularly in the past as well.its kinda difficult to tell based on user reports.it often varies greatly per user iv noticed.
sounds promising tho.
i get what your saying there though CG with the 8k model,its been up on dn regular,but the bev iks would resurrect the high definition again.

will keep updated as more is known.

very interesting watching this team.

the captain 7100 is actually my favorite sd unit.though shockingly still unpopular.

well perhaps no news is good news guys?
but letting ya know anyway that no news will go overlooked.
when there is any updates we will let you know.
im sure many 8k owners miss hd.

seems kinda uncertain as to just what bev is doing with their hd channels too.
