updating SW thru the dongle? - ABA DSS

Can you update the Captains' software via the network through the dongle?

(e.g. Can you update captains w/dongles similarly to how you can update the Neosats?)

The reason for asking this question is this:
The 7000 (w/o usb) is $30 less expensive that the 7100.
If the 7000 could load new BINS via its dongle, then the ability to load using a memory stick would not be all that important.

not positive.but no,i don't think so.
the 7000 doesn't have a rear rocker switch either.(you just have to unplug it for a reboot)
not sure of any other differences.
its good to have usb loading buddy.

"True that" about usb loading.

I had planned to already have had a 2nd box by now, but I got an unbelievable deal on 2 cars so I could give one to my daughter. As a result, my 'play money' got to be a little short.

as of now , you can only update s/w through a usb stick and/or null modem.There is not an option for updating on the menu through the iks.it would be nice and perhaps will be added later from teamcaptain.
