Lost Channels
First of all, I want to thank the mods and the other good people that help out at this site. After several weeks of banging my head against the wall and working on a neusat 9000 was finally able to convert to a captain 8000 and amazingly!!!!! it works!!! I would not have been able to do it without the peeps that kept encouraging me and guided me in the right direction. THANKS!!!!Now for the next problem, I installed the most recent bin and as recommended I did a factory reset. Everything went fine till I re-scanned the birds. the ppvs do not seem to want to come up. I see a lot of channels including the porn, but the main movie channels just don't want to come in. I have cleared and scanned several times, did auto, blind, and manual scans but no good. The other channels work good. I had them before the fact. reset. I must have done something wrong, but what??????? Thanks in advance.

Re: Lost Channels
Check the signal/quality on the movie channels you're not getting by pressing the green(info) button on your remote. If the signal is low, you need to do an another antenna setup and check those transponders.

Re: Lost Channels
Again, thanks for the help, I have found the problem. We had some thunderstorms and it rained pretty hard here and I guess it screwed up my disecq switch. I found that I was only getting the vertical channels and none of the horizontals I think it was a bad switch because I finally removed the switch and ****ed if I didn't have all the channels back!!! (at least on one stb) I am going to buy a little better quality switch this one only lasted about 6mos. I only bought the stb#2 6mos. ago.
