Unhappy Boot problem AND "Don’t disconnect the cable" ? help !

Issue started happening one day on 8000HD don’t know what caused it ?
If I turn the unit ON it shows ---- and I can not turn it ON either by remote or standby button 
Only way to do it is by holding standby button(10-20seconds). If I go to MENU I don’t see any content just blue background.

I am able to load anything through NULL cable but I am getting following message each time: "Don’t disconnect the cable" that never goes away…receiver simply will not boot after that one 
Again it doesn’t matter what I am loading I tried following:

I tried following:

- using Captain_Loader_v1.25 factor bin, still getting "Don’t disconnect the cable"
- Boot_Fix_V120.exe with Softcam key worked, still getting "Don’t disconnect the cable"….so doesn’t matter what I try to push to receiver getting same message.
- Through USB tried forcing unit to load APP_7710_down.BIN that didn’t even work 
- even USB method by holding the OKLIST button down…but nothing…

So basically how will I make my unit to boot ?? or finish update after NULL so I can go to menu and do the rest ??
Help !!

Not sure about the other stuff however I think that problem means you need to press the 'Step' button on your remote to change the video mode to the right one.

eg: go from 480i > 1080i, or from 1080i > 480i depending on if you are using HD cable or not.

you may have to select a different com port on your pc loader program. if the port is not correct the load will never begin.

Re: Boot problem AND "Don’t disconnect the cable" ? help !

I had exactly the same problem, had only a blue screen and a few lines on menu. I left it on menu and kept pressing the step button. When it changed to the right hd resolution the menu came back on. But I was able to get it to display the menu.

Re: Boot problem AND "Don’t disconnect the cable" ? help !

I loaded the app710 bin and totally screwed up my display, if I went to the installation menu I would get some weird characters, so I removed it and replaced it with the 1.01 and it went back to normal. (screen and ability to load files,) I say normal, but I still get the scrambled channel on everything except 100, even with the latest bin. I haven't tried to load keys manually because they change so often. If you have the right loader, the right com port, the cable would be the next thing to check, is it the null or the serial type. I have a pansat uses one type and the captain the other, and sometimes I find myself using the wrong one. Also load orig. fact. bin first, then the latest bin file. And download some fresh files, sometimes they get corrupted if they are zip and I use winrar to open theim. Good luck,
