captain 8000
can someone help my captain 8000 will not accept the latest fix it reads invalid file when entered and it is unzipped

In the setup menu I'm assuming that you have told (instructed) the unit which USB port you wish to use, i.e., front or rear?

Rename the latest bin to:
APP_7710_down.bin (bin is supposed to be lowercase) and then load that to your unit.
After rebooting, using the USB stick again, re-load the latest .bin file, using the files real name this time.
This will solve your problem.

Copy the file off of the USB stick to a directory on your PC.
Once the file is on your PC, click on it once using the left mouse button, once it changes color i.e., is highlighted, using the right mouse button, select rename and name it what I suggested.
Then copy this newly renamed file back to your USB stick and upload it to your unit.
After which, follow the instructions I had outlined in the previous post.
