I only joined the world of FTA in July, after living with rabbit ears all my life. I suppose the upcoming changeover in February has a lot of folks wondering what to do (especially us Canucks -- lemme see now, US will be digital, but Canada will be analog...... hmmmmm....). Had a perfectly agonizing time getting it to work the first time, but now feel very comfortable with pretty much everything.
The DN/BEV combo has about 1,100 channels -- about 1,085 more than I had before. Oodles of sports for you and DIY for me.....
Like just4ufolks said, outages are not at all predictable, but I have not found it to be aggravating -- it's a hobby after all. But I have noticed that the number of homes with dishes -- and multiple dishes -- has leaped in the last few months. No coincidence there......
