There is a read me file to look at , in another words I have not tried it on all receivers but have tried it for Viewsat.

its nothing you load on a stb.
you simply use it on your pc.
it shows you the keys to enter via remote for your unit see buddy.

hey carp, if these will work for playboy do you think they will work for football also this fall?

Is there any program that you can use to automatically update you keys by just one click through PC and receiver so don't have to manually search and insert the keys.?

Depends upon the make and model of your unit ... but yes - there are tools to make electronic versions of the keys, often called opkeys or softcams.
