i dont think there is a top string, you may be 1 line down on the keys after you hosed up the base pair value.

In the code menu =nagra,Dish 010100 I accidentaly replaced the 16 sets of two keys across from line 00 above 08,09,88 & 89. factory default didn't restore them to what they were and I didn't jot them down before changing them (did it by mistake). Unfortunately I only have the 1 Ultra or I could look it up off another Ultra.

Think I figured it out. All my keys are in properly now. I think what was happening was I selected echo8,10....but my box was locking on to nim1,3 so when I did a channel scan it was coming up under echo8,10 but was really nim 1,3.

I originally aimed my dish for echo8,10 but I am picking up BEV on nim 1,3.

Does that sound right? They must be close together some 30000 miles away. lol.

Depends on which one you want. What you see on the right side of your antenna setup page is where you are pointing

yah looks like nim1,3 automatically pop up on the top of the screen.

I get good quality and signal bars when I highlight echo8,10 but I don't get echo 8,10 to pop up automatically on the top of my GUI. Guess that means I'm not pointed at 8,10 but rather nim 1,3.

Are those two sats close together?

Nimiq 1.3 is 91W and Echo 8/10 is 110 W so you can do the subtraction.
If you are pointing at Nimiq 1.3 and you want Echo 8/10, Stand behind your dish and slowly move it to the right(west) and you will hit 110. Be sure your dish settings are correct before you do this.
