Here is something else from another source about N3:
This is a C & P from a very prominant figure in the fta community discussing Nag 3!!
No FTA manufacturer is working on a fix for N3, they want one and would pay I am sure but they are coders, software writers, not card hackers.
nfusion said they thought they had a working
solution, but they are not getting the N3 only channels either at this time, NFL was still N2 last Sunday, just a different key set.
I would think end of this month will see the end of pretty much all BEV channels, certainly all PPV, sports and movies.
And probably end of Dec. for DN on the PPV, adult, sports and movies, and certainly not long into 2009 for the basic channels to go off, maybe Feb., the majority of subscribers just have the basic package, they are the last to be swapped out, so those channels always last the longest.
All FTA "fixes" are based on the
information found only inside a current subbed card(an N3 card for the lost channels), since no card hackers have gotten into an N3 DN or BEV card at this time, it looks like there will be some down time for the FTAs, but it could come at anytime, and it would spread pretty fast to all brands.
And just a warning, there is no such thing as a "private" hack, period, save your money, if its hacked it WILL be public very fast, if you want to BE THE FIRST, to lose your money, be my guest.
And if you read anything about a "release date" for a fix, that will be a scam as well, no such statement in the history of "free TV" has ever not been a scam, lol.
You WILL absolutely see/read wild rumors, thats what happens at these times, you WILL receive emails with offers to "get it first", with your annual membership dues of course.
If you must part with your money donate it to a charity, they will have the same "fix" as any you will get from these above offering, lol
nFusion said they had a way to get N3, most thought it was a "card sharing" type work around so didn't require getting the info from inside the card, but N3 is here on BEV, has been for awhile now, maybe they just plan on doing it for DN. At this time nFusion seems to be the sharpest knife in the drawer to get something working, and they seem like an good honest group so I would bet if anyone does, they come up with something, but I wouldn't rush out and buy a receiver just yet.
And NO, in case it comes up, you can not use a DN or BEV card in your FTA, period.
