welcome to aba. Put 2500 away for future use if any fix come out for this one right now it is useless except fta like tom mention.

yes the pansat would work on the g 19 sat which is 197 west fta sattlite there with all kind of channel

N3 is still in effect, you must wait if there is a fix for it, and it will only work after n3 fix is out, and if ur 2500a is converted. Going to wait a long time now.

the box cannot be programmed to do anything right now if it has not been converted to a 2700 that is fine there is no fix for it at all what the guys are yalking about is this and this is all you can use it for

if you get a 36 inch dish (and possibly a motor ) you can get free to air only this is a really old reciecver so you can get free to air 36 innch dish motor and a linear lnb say aph 031 and you will get a few channels ny scanning not many and alot of truble if you do not know how to set that up

but if you want dn then you will have to put that in a closet and get say a nfusion or a kbox sv with the ihub and run iks (internet kets sharing) then you new reciever will have to be connected to the internet .. i suggest you go into the newbie section and start reding about this stuff good luck

that reciever probably will never go back up i suggest move on and get a new reciever

hay man this receiver is garbage if you want spend money buying 36'' + motor+ liner lnb and set this one up for few channel thats fine otherwise get a new box what tom mention to you if you want to watch tv. Start reading in stiky section and get much info. about the receiver you need to buy. Then we will help you set it up. It is your choice what you need.Spend money on no good receiver for few channel or go to the latest one it is your choice and you got every one openion on this.one............... good luck.
