This just sucks... I bought a pvr7000 in September and I am now having issues with it where I need to return it warranty repair. I am hearing that one of the teams is building a bin that will wipe all areas of the chip.

My understanding is that the "3rd Party" bins extend into areas (memory wize) that the factory bin doesnt touch, so even if you reflash with the factory bin, you will still have "scraps" of information residing within the chip.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a fix or a cleaner bin? If not, I have a 250.00 brick.

I need to call viewsat and see how much they charge for a new motherboard as well.

This just sucks
