Re: will this D*tv lnb work for me
well, not sure. i think you say you have a current DP dish, and you want to add another sat. if the dish is a single lnb type, i think likely you can if you run the both dishes into a seperate switch as i doubt the DP will take the dtv dish as its 3rd input.
now that being said, it would help to know what other sat you want as some require rather large dishes.

Re: will this D*tv lnb work for me
thanks tb, well he is, i re-read it.
i think what i was trying to say is that if the dtv dish is a single lnb type than you can select certain sats with it and combine it with the existing dp 500 but i was not totally sure what the question was....

Some DTV customers get lucky and have a Winegard 24-30" with a stand-alone unswitched LNB. The LNB is usually an Eagle Aspen DTV32+ which is circular for DBS-BSS 12.2-12.7GHz and is compatible with DT 101, 110, 119W and DN 61.5, 110, 119, 129 and 148W. I hope this is what you have.

It actually should work fine if it is a plain single LNB dish

WOW you guys are awsome! OK I am refering to a DTV/winegard LNB with a 20-22"disk does have a single round eye and two cable outlets, does read 12.2-12.7GHz.SF2-D3. What I have now is a DP+ so it has a input for a second single LNB, where i would like to add a 148w, can i run a test? or keep looking for a DN with 148? or add a switch?
thanks again for all your help!

Re: will this D*tv lnb work for me
it will pick up 148w
not 100% sure it will work through the dp+ hook up but you can try it and it won't hurt anything to try

What's difference between heaven and hell
One night, God spoke to a preacher to tell him what he wanted to know. “God,” he said, “What is heaven like?” God replied, “Well, normally I don't tell people this, but since you are my servant, I guess I can tell you. Heaven will be like a city. It will have the best of everything. For example, the French will be the chefs; the Italians will be the lovers; the English will be the policeman; the Germans will be the mechanics; and the Dutch will be the politicians!” The man looked pleased. “What is hell like?” he asked.“Well,” he said with a sigh, “the French will be the mechanics; the Italians will be the politicians; the English will be the chefs; the Germans will be the policemen; and the Dutch will be the lovers.”www.57tao.net
