Dt tv dish
since DT TV dish is pointed at Echo 110 & 119 if I was to hook up my coolsat 6100 to it would I be able to receive DN. I had a subscription to DT at one time, would it work with out any adjustment to the dish?

Re: Dt tv dish
you have a single lnb on that dish.you would be better of getting a dish 500 with a dpplnb to get 110/119

Re: Dt tv dish
the dish is pointed fine, you may have to change your lnb to one DN or b3v uses though.

Re: Dt tv dish
Ive read about people trying to adapt dp lnb to dtv dish it sounds like a pain in the butt. Your more than welcome to try but i would suggest getting a dish 500 with dpp twin. If your concerned about aiming the new dish leave the dtv one there for a reference ??

Re: Dt tv dish
I have a dtv phase 3 dish. I bought a lnb bracket called a daucer and several lnbs(4) on ebay. I had two dish 500's and I reduced the clutter to one. I will say that I have better quality on the direct dish with the daucer than when I had the 500s. It is well worth your time looking into it. If you want to get the dish 500, check your local paper or craigslist. Good Luck

Re: Dt tv dish
The dish 500 with DP twin LNB can be had cheap on Ebay and will source 2 receivers without need for switches. It would be less work than modifying the DTV dish. If you have more than 2 recievers a DP Quad will source 4 receivers without switches.

Re: Dt tv dish
smd621; I made a D*sh 500 out of 1 18" Davie dish and 2 old Davie lnb's. Testing D*shn*t right now as I type aimed at both the 110/119 bird's. They can call it a poorman's set-up if they choose to.....those that say no, Sorry fella's YES it can be done. After all,,, testing is making what you already have to work...it's all a part of testing. . . . . agrestab
