Have a question
I'm not sure if I'm asking this in the right place or not, but I'm new to this, so I appreciate any help that can be provided.
I have a CW700 with two captiveworks LNBs on a DishPro 500 sat. I'm in the U.S., but I live in an apartment and can't hit 119w or 110w. I can hit 91w, so I've just been getting BEV. Since the N3 hit, I have no channels and was curious as to other sats I might be able to hit that are worth watching. Someone mentioned 101w, which I believe is DirectTV, but I'm not sure if I can get DTV with my equipment. I'm fairly sure I could get as far out as east as 101 without being blocked and I can most likely get another 20 degrees the other direction without being blocked. So...can I get DTV channels with my equipment and are there other sats that I can hit that might be worth watching besides 110,119, 91 and 82?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Have a question
I tried for the longest time to hit 119/110 to the extent that I hired an installer to come out and try to get either one of them for me. The problem is that I'm on the third floor of an apartment complex and the building is blocking my signal from 110 and 119. If I turn it 40 degrees then I will be facing directly into the building. I have maybe 15-20 degrees before I would be blocked by the building.

Re: Have a question
Yeah, that sucks ... when you find yourself in that kind of location/situation.
There may be little to do really, unless B3V gets back from her holiday.

Re: Have a question
Galaxy25 97W has a lot of free International channels, many in English, but a 30-36" dish with a linear LNBF will be required. Additionally GC keys can be used with the sat for more channels.

Re: Have a question
Solid advice there, I was thinking that he had wanted to use existing gear.
Good advice though.

Re: Have a question
Hi
Yes you have to adjust with your dish and try to change the angle so you can recieve clear picture. and before that check your Television once you scan because you should check your T.V. have the best features with good options.
