I know this sounds elementry but I have not found an answer yet, so, I'll post it here.

I have 2 CS 7000's and one CS8100hd, Everything is working fine, so no problem here but I was wondering if I took the LNB - Ant out of my working CS 7000 and connected it to the In on the 2nd receiver (in the same room) can I also use this receiver with a HDD to record shows? What limitations are there to doing something like this? Has anyone tried to daisy chain the LNB's for 2 receivers?

My TV has 2 sets of component in's so I could switch between inputs on the tv to set it up and I have 2 external HDD's.

I have the hardware to add a multi switch but just don't have the time to reconfigure my stuff right now..

Any suggestions? and comments welcome thanks in advance!
