When you see the L 100 on the front display...this is identifying the FACTORY FILE bin. (which works like an operating system)
This is normal to see just after you do a reset...because it wipes everything off. (channels & settings)
As soon as you power up the unit...it will show L 100 then it will display the last channels it was set for, or, it will display 0000. (after a reset)

The receiver must be OFF & RS-232 Serial Data Cable connected to rear.
Now open loader (being sure to unzip both loader & bin file prior)
Browse your documents for the current working bin file...select it...verify it (in window)...then hit Download...then turn power ON receiver. (to begin upload)...wait until you see the L 100 displayed...then the last channels viewed or 0000.*
* (when you see 0000 on display...this means it is time to scan for channels)
If you want to see a guide to use loader...look for "CoolSat for Dummies" file (no joke) this is the best guide with photos.
