You are likely not getting much pick up on your question, as that is a tough one to be honest ... each receiver has its pluses and minuses. IKS enabled is likely the way to go, many receivers are already going that route, and many more will follow - afterall - that's progress.

The HD units are expensive, and it would be nice to make sure that you make a sound decision ... again, that maybe why you aren't getting to much pick up on your question right out of the gate. Its not a cut and dry answer <smile>.

Some of the HD units being offered now, are fairly new introductions as well - so one might want to wait until they have matured somewhat, given the cost of them.

While I haven't come right out and offered you a direct answer, perhaps I've provided you with a few more things to consider before plunking down your $$$.
