what sats are you trying to get????

and yes, you should measure exactly where the exsisting LNB is aimed at the dish.....put a little dot with a marker there......then that will be the spot you need to aim your new LNB(s).....

if you are slightly off that spot then you want the LNB(s) to be aimed slightly LOWER than the mark.....if you are higher than the mark on the dish you will have signal and q problems......basically being a bit lower on the dish is much better than being higher......
