MgGib is right, there are so many opinions. It really comes down to how much you want to invest and what you are wanting it to do. I love my SV8000HD, it was easy to set up and update, has great support and a wonderful picture...but it was my Christmas, birthday & mother's day present last year and now Christmas present for this year also!! lol (but it was worth it) It costs a little more than some of the others. So read as much as possible and figure out which one you like.
