Directv hd dish
guys i got the HR21 receiver and let me tell u is amazing,i buy the HD dish what it cost ALOT of money and is not easy to aim cuz u must catch the HD sats,for now i have 101,110 and 119 i have all the channels but no HD i got error 771 if u google it u will see alot of trouble with that,i have no time to play with this for now cuz i gonna go out the town,i will let u know my testing

If you can lay your hands on or borrow a Birddog meter, that might be a good way to go. They are too expensive for the casual installer, but what a good meter.

i got strong signal on 101,119,110 what is the regular sats but i call the guy who sell me the dish and he told me i must find 103 and 99 also,is funny cuz i have only 3 lnb's on the dish and he said it works ,i gonna try on the weekend and trust me CG i'm really good picking up the sats,my second name is sat finder lol.

Does the 99 and and the 101 share the same LNB?, Kind of like the wierd *choice LNB's did, given they are only a few degrees apart?

Rember also Ed, the Ka band satellites (99,103) are not high powered satellites. So you may get different results if its cloudy or rainy. Might want to do it on a clear day for best results. If you are using the 3-lnb array from the slimline, on a normal dish the focal length is the same, but the mounting hole is off a bit.

you right,this dish is so heavy but beauty at the time,it took me around 1hr just to put the parts together i didn't know about the HD sats this world wit DTV chit is new for me also the HR21 receiver is so nice,only a thing about DTV is the guide other than that very nice provider
