ok the first time for a standard plug and play fta stb to have an emulator for retro games, you can play NES the original Nintendo Entertainment System games.
(now remember, this was only an 8 bit system back in what was it? 1985 released right?)
so if your not a retro gamer now,(play the old games with emulators for pcs,or kept an old system) remember, what was so great is the simplicity of the classics.if you haven't played in awhile, your going to have some cool memories

but if you missed that era, either to old or to young, you just may enjoy some classics, but don't go thinking its going to compare to a PlayStation or something.
those who grew up with nes, know what to expect.
anyway, that's reported to be running the games pretty well.the downside is the controllers cords are short.
im sure soon there will be reports of how to connect/rig up wireless controllers, or at least modifying extra cable length.
second! this ones pvr is said to be recording directly to MPG!!!!!
at long last!!!!
whats that mean? no more converting files to burn to dvd!!!!
just burn to dvd if your dvd player supports mpeg playback,OR simply just author them and your rocking!!!!
WTG with this one captiveworks!
she sounds like fun!
here's more on the NES:
Nintendo Entertainment System - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
what i have not read yet is:
1.what emulator is being used for nes?
(if its fceultra ported for this stb,it should be a real treat.remember the coders can,and hopefully will continue developing this to run even smoother.fceultra is an outstanding emu, that you can download for free and run on your pc if you want.-quick way to check out games actually.)
does it support save/load states?
if so,does it currently work glitch free?
(look for a system menu setting-probably during game playback.press start or another button for a sub menu? see list of options there?)
2.what bitrate audio/video the mpg's are recorded in?
can you set and create your own bitrate templates?
if not, record for exactly 2 hours please.and report the file size.thanks!
