Hello everyone! This will be my first post so please forgive me if I step on someones toes...

I have been looking into the FTA thing for awhile. Can anyone tell me if all recievers are compatable with all dishes? How can I tell what will work with what? I have been looking at the Dish 500pro or dish 1000, but not sure if there is really a better choice. And finally, can anyone tell me a good HD reciever? Looking for 1080p but can only find 1080i. I assume that 1080p is not available yet and might be to much information to send and recieve.

Any help would be appriciated...
And sorry for those toes if I hurt them.
