Sub keeps blacking out????
Anybody know why my sub bev box would be blacking out every 5 minutes. You could set your watch to it, every 5 mins. When I check my dish install its got 88 to 95 signal but won't lock in on any odd# transponder. Locks in on 2 4 6 8 10 12 and so on, no lock on 1 3 5 7 ...21 23. Any ideas?? Splitting the subscription so can't just call.

Re: Sub keeps blacking out????
Just all your connections, switches and most importantly the connection to your dish , they do turn or become rusted, corouted and just snipped off and screwed back on will do the trick, it happens, you get evens sometimes, or odd channels and thats your problem, I know went through that.

Re: Sub keeps blacking out????
I'll try the connections tomorrow, already dark here. But wouldn't the signal drop if the connection was bad. It still reads right around 90% just won't lock.

While it's on you can pull the card out and put it back in.

Re: Sub keeps blacking out????
you could try resetting the receiver by holding in the power button for five secs then release it ,this has solved several glitches in the past for me

Re: Sub keeps blacking out????
I just don't get it, I think the box is fried. Some channels I have no problem at all. Other channels are messed, some go out exactly at 5 minute intervals others go out randomly.

Re: Sub keeps blacking out????
sounds like a signal problem or it could be a receiver going bad all i can say is do a check switch it will tell you if it is a signal problem or not, good luck
