my first post..........sonicview
I've been a member on this site for awhile now,i've read a great deal of compliments concerning sonicview,i'm baffled,am i the only one who thinks the ihub is garbage?.
I have 3 sonicview 360 premiers and one sv8000,they worked ok with nag2,then they cameout with the ihub,i was one of the first people to get the ihub for my sv8000.
To this day i've not had the pleasure of watching tv without it freezing on my premier or 8000,i keep reading these servers excuses,i've heard them from the beginning, the claims of all these channels supposedly working yet to this day i have yet to get one channel on echostar 3,how many more bugs?
Lets move forward to the lack of customer support(none). 2 of my sonicview boxes dont even work anymore, the other had to be repaired by an independant repair shop.i have called sonicview dozens of times, not once ever speaking to a person, leaving messages that to this day have never been returned, emailing several times without one email being returned.
So i'm wondering how it is that so many people in here defend sonicview and their ihub scam,in all reality they had months to test out their product and fix bugs before nag3 was fully implemented. they have taken thousands of clients money and produced little or nothing in return.
Last week i decided to try a different box,my fta consultant brought it over and set it up for me,i've now had it for one week, during the week we have kept track of freezing and or any down time. the total freezing was 8 times with a total offline time of less than one minute for the entire week.
the box is a nfusion solaris.
Sonicview has dropped the ball, and from where i'm standing($1200 worth of sonicview products) they're not trying to pick it up.
I dont know if this post will be deleted,i certainly hope not,but i wont be surprised.
Sincerely,
Flchub

You did the right thing. If your not happy move on. That's the best advice. When their sales dwindle thats the tell all. You still never know though.....they could come through like a champ.

The information you had posted is relevant in that it details your experience and the remedy you elected to put in place. If that helps others, that's what its all about.

Re: my first post..........sonicview
I agree with the guy, I bought a 360elite over a year ago and it was a great receiver (as a stand alone), but once N3 hit, the Elite is horrible with the ihub. So I decided to get the Nfusion Phoenix, and wow that was so easy to set up compared to the 360. Now once the N3 is cracked Ill go back to the 360.
