IKS, Which receiver should i buy
I'm tired of waiting on the N3 hack for my coolsat and captiveworks recievers. So I want to go to IKS, which is new to me.
Is IKS reliable and if N3 is hacked will the same receiver be able to be used?
Which receiver should I buy? Is there a HD receiver that uses IKS. I found some information on Kbox, which receiver is better Heros or Prodigy?
I do want to be able to connect it to my wireless router, what do I need
Is there a fee that needs to be paid to connect to the server?
Thanks,
robanders

Re: IKS, Which receiver should i buy
At the moment kbox doesn't have HD...only HD receivers that use iks for now are nfusionHD and sv8000HD...you can click on the nfusion and sonicview icons in my signature and read up on both of them in the help sections

In my opinion, I would recommend the NFusion. If hyou are not looking for HD then go for the Phoenix.
But if you are looking for HD, then NFusion is the best of the Lot. Beautiful Picture and little or no down time.

Re: IKS, Which receiver should i buy
SV has the best user interface IMHO among Kbox and nfusion (I have hand-on experiences on all three). The last 2-3 weeks, SV works ok with minor freezings, but it had been a rocky road in terms of uptime and stability.

I agree, I the nfusion phoenix is great! It's a little tricky to set up, but once set, it works non-stop with only minor micro-freezing. I highly recommend it! Get it from Incredible Entertainment.
The neosat Ipro is a good unit too, if you want to also pay $100 every year for IKS to a dubious company that will likely give up your name to the feds. I don't know about the K-box or the SV that requires an additional $99 for a dongle, but have many less channels than the nfusion. Check out the channels on the nfusion:
