Hey Grass, compared to the VS9000 how fast and responsive is the Sonicview 8000? Is there a noticeable difference?
I'll apprciate all the info you can give me.
Thanx in advance

VS 9000 HD is another best HD receiver out there, I heard a lot of good reports about it. I am sure that you will like it too.

Thanx Grass for your respond..I helped a friend of mine setting his VS 9000, and it was pretty much the same as the VS Ultra but not as fast and responsive as the Ultra. In the case you have tested the Ultra, how much slower/less responsive, if any, is the Sonicview 8000 compared to the VS Ultra?
Sorry for my Qs, I'm just trying to get an HD receiver closest to the VS Ultra in performance (fast response.)
Thanx,
JRFTA

you can only compare VS Ultra to sonicview 4000, both models has very much the same features. Sonicview 8000 is a lot faster...

Okidoki, then I think SV8000 is going to be the one... Even though I know you can't compare the VS Ultra and the SV8000, I just wanted to know how responsive was the VS 8000 compared to the VS Ultra in terms of loading files, changing channels, scanning, etc. When I tested the VS 9000 I noticed it was slightly slower than the VS Ultra specially loading files, so I would like to get something equals of faster than what I have right now, in terms of "speed" :P
Well supermod!! Thanx for your help....I think I'll give the SV 8000 a try...
