Iks Systems
I am thinking about getting a IKS system such as NFUSION or NEOSAT could someone please guide me with the advantages of each receiver and which would be the best choice. I have a Viewsat Extreme now and love it but want to move up (if that is the right choice of words) to IKS
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Drumzs

Re: Iks Systems
I love the Nfusion box...I just dont like the signal quality I had to change my system to Legacy to get a better signal but it is a good back up box for when my CNX trio goes down

Re: Iks Systems
Hey buddy... I have 1 Nfusion hooked to a motorized dish and it has never gone down. That pretty much says it all. I still have 2 Viewsat Xtremes and I love them but the Nfusion is like my Ace in the hole. The whole family is in my room tonight watching TV until we get a new Viewsat fix.

I am considering purchasing either the ipro2k or the nfusion as my next box i like what i hear about both but supposedly the nfusion overheats and has a weak signal and picture?
Others say the ipro2k has a better picture but its iks isnt as secure as the patented nfusion iks i would rather cw come up with an iks solution but thats not likely to happen...i currently use a cw 600s ive had this thing forever and this little box or cw has never failed me...but its time to upgrade to the new standard soon...im leaning toward ipro2k but nfusion is still in the mix...

Re: Iks Systems
neosat ipro 2000 all the way.its a no brainer.
much newer unit.
200 mhz chip.
64 mbs ram.
8 mb flash rom.
usb slot for updates/external pvr.
great working pvr system.high quality pic.
features like advanced searching by theme/title/etc.
record/event timers.
auto setup wizard.it scans your hardware, you don't have to know anything lol it does it for you.
a scan of a bird under a minute flat.
iks up on 119/110/91/148/sky mex-yeah even nfl sunday ticket if your in the beam for it.
the list goes on and on,
nfusion? well its based on the old neosat ipro 1000 not much of a pvr system.and not even a usb port.
neosat boys.
she's the ones with the future.she only has one way from here and thats up.
nfusion has only one way from here.its not up lol they need a newer unit to compete.

if your gunna spend over 200 bucks.you should have the latest, and much more tyhan a dated unit.you can get much more than an old unit with an Ethernet port.
look how easy and fast this is to setup.it practically sets itself up.
nfusion doesn't do this:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/801-neos...zard-pics.html
look at all the features, many you wont find with the nfusion:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/801-neos...res-guide.html
no comparison.
only reason people compare them is because they have an Ethernet port lol thats about only comparison.
get what you pay for.a nice pvr system with some sweet power and results.
the NEOsat is where its at.

Re: Iks Systems
ipro is currently going through a transition period.
iks has been down as of late.
since this, nfusion has brought out new and advanced stbs and their iks has proved to be simply the best.
nfusion is now a a quarter of a year ahead of all others in iks solution.
sorry guys.can't be right all the time.
