Best Support

Hey guys I'm in the market for a new STB but I want to know who got the best support out there. I'm still undecided if I'll get the VS Ultra or SV-4000. I'm happy w/ my Pansat 3500SD, I just want to try other brand.

Hmmmm,tough decision between SV-4000 and Vs Ultra because both are good.

Gr8-but tough call as BOTH VS Ultra n SV4000 r proven in d market place with huge satisfied ownership base n both have excellent support, hav user friendly diverse features n pleasure 2 enjoy ur fav prog...both r cost effective in consumers hand...

to make things even more challenging for you to decide, why not include the CW700 along side the SV and VS.

At least the CW is a little cheaper, same features as the VS and SV, and support is exceptional.
But you can't go wrong with either the VS or SV. Much better STBs then the Pansat.

Try Cw 800 or Cnx mini, both with Pvr and they both cost cheaper than tha Ultra almost by $20-40 in price. But hey tha Ultras not that bad to =D

oh boy.well i can assure you,any one of these are going to wake you up to whats on the market now.they will totally blow the panny 3500 out of the watter.

good basic runners with great support:

sv4k
vs ultra
cnx mini
cw 700
captain 7100

i like captain 7100.she's the one with the most juice. (twice the ram as the others)
superior pic quality as well.and surprisingly,one of the lower cost's.she also can run iks if you wanted with adapter sold separately.don't have to though,her file support has been mean enough lately.some really nice hardware and software both.captains gaining popularity,and its great to see.
i would rank it as literally 5 times (at least) the unit the 3500 is.iv no doubt in my mind,you would also if you decide to give her a spin.

the cw700 is a powerful and good reciver with USB loading and ltos of other kool featutres, and great supportm choose the cw700 its not a bad choise!

Captive Works has exceptional support. Get a 700 or a 800pvr, very affordable, lots of great features & both have a usb port. Plus it sounds like iks is in the works for these units also. You can't go wrong with captive works.
