Awesome SV4000
I own SV-4000 for about 2 weeks now. I am new also to this FTA world. But this box helped me to adjust to this new experience fairly well. I set it up myself using the existing DN system but the menu/submenus including the remote control are user-friendly and common-sense.
Another great value of the Sonicview was my first experience with the ECM - but the Sonicview team came up with the fix so fast that it did not take me long and for other FTA box owners to look at the black screen.
Great product, coder-team and the moderators/helpers.
Keep up the good job. I am sure that a lot of FTA box owners are very happy and excited having any box models while enjoying our favorite programs because of you coders and moderators/helpers.

Re: Awesome SV4000
I have the SV4000 too. After loading the new BIN, it worked for about 30 minutes then all chanel went blank with message "Please wait for update". Can someone tell me what's going on and what I need to do? Thx

Re: Awesome SV4000
switch off the back switch & wait for awhile.
I also want to thank the coder & moderator for all the hard work. I know that you get flak sometimes but on the whole all the people are thankful.

Re: Awesome SV4000
Looks like some guys have given you the common solutions:
1. Turn off the rear switch and wait for 10-20 seconds, then turn it back on (that's the hard reboot). Wait for the boot process completes itself.
2. Then go to channel either 100 or 101 until the program shows up, then switch to the channel you want and make sure you press OK button. Then just wait because it is doing its auto-rolling.
That should do it. All these things would work PRESUMING you have already downloaded the latest bin file v230 for SV4000 that was just released yesterday. Otherwise, reload the latest bin file, v230; then turn off/on the rear switch after downloading the latest file.
On another note, if everything works, make sure you have the correct time setting for your location also, so you would get the EPG populated.
These info should work, unless something else is wrong.
