this sonicview 8000 hd/pvr is one sweet machine

Sounds like the clarity is just as good as my directtv setup.I just can't see getting any box that would be lesser quality after getting a 2250 plasma.
They only thing that stinks is no built in hard drive and no option to put one in means you always have to turn on the external harddrive.

how come nobody postting any pictures..i'd like to see what your david letterman show looks like.they must have THE best cameras in the worls.theres other places to post pics on the web too like photo bucket and some others.i'm not buying till i see alotta pics.

Do you still need the 8pks for Sat 129, I notice on lyngsat they use MPEG-4 for those channels.
