well sam the topic of the thread was best hd reciever so as you can tell in our opinion its the best out there. If you wanna compare them and go with something else heres a shortcut.

sv 8000hd only one that work on bell and dish and is fast to set up and it a lot cheaper an better than when i bought mine couple of new thing added like a back usb and fan and other thing most of the bug ar fix by some any newer you have to start with bata files

well the sv 8000 isn't the only HD stb... i use the Viewsat 9000 and it's been doing me fine for a couple months. I just hope it will work after B3V implements nagra3.
