I was wondering if the nfusion nova would be a good replacement .for further testing. what do you guys have to say .not concerning the price .

its important you understand what it is.
here are a couple things to consider.

1.no regular file support.IKS ONLY.so your going to need a devoted always open net connection for 3rd party support.

2.its actually NOT a modern up to date fta receiver.its made by a company called AMT who also make the neosat ipro 1000/neosat lite/nuesat lite/bluejay and some other comparable older stbs.
its specs/hardware is well under other modern up to date advanced stbs on the market today.

3.iks support is very very good.your going to have pic regularly.

so number three sounds preety good .2 is more confusing or is it a bad thing .1 could be no problem

#3 is the most important point. It has usually been up more than any other box. However, if your internet service ever has hiccups (which most do), the nFusion is also going to have hiccups.

Although a lot is made about the convenience of being able to set up a stb with a usb stick, setting up the nfusion is not that difficult even if you can't directly use a memory stick with it.

The remote is very user friendly. All in all, I've been extremely happy with the Nova.
I've been much less happy with my Neosat. IKS & BIN support has historically been spotty, a lot more fiddling with the Neo's remote is required & the Neo's remote is not user friendly. (Although you can use a DN or Radio Trash remote with the Neo, important functions cannot be conducted using anything but the Neo's remote.)

The Neo's advantage: superior SD picture quality.
