Recommendation...
I'm starting to get used to it. Had my 6000 for just over a year, am planning on replacing it. The new bin will be here in another day or so I would hope. I would like to get a HD receiver with PVR and good support. Does anyone have any recomendations, I was thinking of a Viewsat

The Viewsat 9000 is ok, but I would recommend the Sonicview 8000 for HD and PVR capabilities. The support from Sonicview is first rate...

I'm currently testing both receivers and the SV8000 is the better choice.. They both have great support as the VS9000 just had a new GUI released !

how hard is the sv8000 to program? I am used to the viewsat extreme but wanting to upgrade to hd and do you get the bins the same way? thank you
