the nfusion nova IS a neosat ipro 1000 in a different skin.
the reason you have buttons to push with the neo 2k is because it can be cardless OR iks.
the ipro 2k has the superior picture quality.its a much more modern system than the 1k and all those in its family(nova included).
it also has an antenna auto detect,making it very easy to setup,with scans around 30 seconds per bird.
a fairly decent list of advanced features as well,like a 50/50 split screen PIP function along with search by info bar,search by theme/title (tho kinda basic,compared to others in this area) with a MUCH faster chip over the old 1k with 203 mhz and like triple the ram with 64mbs.she also tosses out 750ma of juice out of her rear lnb port,compared to the low 400ma of the nova.so she's going to handle dish pro and dpp lnbs with ease as the nova struggles.
v2neoteam has this stb running WAY over what some credit her for.mainly nova fans,silly really why many feel the neo/nova brake up concerns them imho,while iv always felt we the testers should remain united rather than opposed.this is due to the mistake on both sides,by both teams not just burying the hatchet and moving forward in their endeavors imho.
but any rate,iv never felt the nova should be compared to the much more advanced pvr/iks neo 2k.totally different animal other than a rear Ethernet port.
