SV-360-elite or premier
Hi !
I need a little help.After I lost money with coolst 5000 I'd like to
get new unit (newer coolsat again) I'm thinking about elite or premier
and have no idea which is better. Most important for me is support.
maybe I should go with something better?
Is sonicview a good choice ?
thanks for every opinion

Re: SV-360-elite or premier
welcome to aba buddy
If your not planning on using the pvr feature go with the viewsat ultra..
It has possibly the best support and is very reliable and easy to use.

Re: SV-360-elite or premier
don't have experience in coolsat but i do own a elite and really like this box and have set up a premier for a freind and he really likes his box also.i think any box will have it's little quirks that everyone has to put up with. as far as updates sv is second to none in my opinion.fixes are usally out within 4-5 hours of ecm. i don't think you could go wrong with a 360. just my thoughts

Re: SV-360-elite or premier
I agree with baron's post completely. An Elite was my very first STB and I have no regrets. I have way, way too much fun with the PVR, even though it's still a bit quirky. And just tonight I was trying to watch two channels simultaneously and could hardly believe how cool and practical the PIP function was (one click to swap pictures, even though they were on different birds).
But ricksbeach is right too -- if you don't plan to use PVR, there are other choices.
Good viewing.

PIP is a really great feature especially if your a sports fan with two events going on at the same time. agreed, go with the elite.

Re: SV-360-elite or premier
You can't beat these two STB's. These are Sonicviews two latest STB's on the market. The support is the very best . The single tuner PVR in the Premier is nice if you want to record a movie when you go to bed, or the Elite with the dual tuners which enables you to watch one show on one channel and record another show on a different channel. I think your choice in a Sonicview will be a good one...
