Hello and welcome. In short no. There's a good reason it's fairly cheap. Best to ask about any fta before you buy.

Re: need a question answered

Simple answer...get rid of it...unless you want a stb for wild feeds and true fta and you do not need any support or updates then thats a great box. As for DN and BEv, the only support it now gets...old files that may or may not work from time to time. With the price of some of the other brands out there...you can pick up a great receiver for less then $120 and get great features and support.

You would be one of the few brother. The best HD model currently on the market. since i have not had the chance to test the new Viewsat MaxHD box would be the SV 8000, best budget box with pvr option is the cw 800pvr.

Re: need a question answered

You can get a cw-700 for about $100.00 & it has usb. You could also get the cw-650 for about $80.00 but it doesn't have a usb port. In my opinion for the extra $20.00 It's definately worth getting the 700.

You can get the cw800pvr for that price too on some sites...why not go with a pvr and usb loading ? lol
