K1 plus or CW 800?
I know this seems like a strange comparison but which would you choose a Captive Works 800, or a Kbox K1 plus, for a newbie starter system? I'm leaning towards the CW. Is the K1's support good?

hello and welcome to aba. i have a cw800 and wouldn't trade it for anything. the support for captive works is excellent. just my opinion

I'll have to agree with buddy. I haven't had any problems with my 2 800's. They are very easy to setup & can't beat the support..

for a newbie, i would say CW, K1 has dongle and IKS supported. but eventually, K1 is a better unit for novice users

I love them both, and if you can handle the iks setup, then the k1 plus is a great box because it offers iks and stand alone fixes....but, the cw800 is one of the best boxes out for the price it sells at, and i love the extras...also word is that cw will be releasing iks support for all their boxes soon. So either way your making a great choice.

Cant go wrong with captiveworks, I own a cw700 and a cw800. Both great boxes and really good support
cw800 would be better for a newbie
