Re: What Hd receiver has best pitchure?
well you have the best.nothing out there yet comes close to the hd king imho.
do you have a c band dish? if so the panny 9200 would be good, basic but great for buds.
otherwise i don't think you would think much of it,especially after using the sv.
if you want to run iks,you can try out the new nfusion hd unit.
there are lots who like the vs hd unit too.the new maxhd needs some tuning up tho, well they both do really.
going to be very hard to use a diff hd unit after using that sv 8k.
if you want to wait a bit,sv 360hd is coming.thats gunna be a dual tuner hd unit.

The one with a current .bin offers the best pic, otherwise all you get is:

Sorry, couldn't help it
The SV 8000HD is the cream of the crop, the pick of the litter ... enjoy yours.

Got to agree with arb, love the SV-8000. Picture quality and setup is simple and easy. You have the best, don't settle for anything less...

Re: What Hd receiver has best pitchure?
VS 9000HD picture Qty is great... but Bullsh$t & crappy software running on it. Too many issues, I would also recommend look for something that is stable also.

Re: What Hd receiver has best pitchure?
Try out the Pansat 9200HD.......It's a quality box with an awesome picture. Circuitry is top notch and very reliable. It shares some lacks but the quality and eSATA pvr feature makes it a wonderful package. I believe it is the only box that has eSATA but I then again I could be wrong.
