Re: cw 700s
Spend a few extra $$$ and get the CW800 unit, it has USB file loading, much easier.

Re: cw 700s
Sorry was thinking of the older CW600 unit, my bad ... just wanted it to be easy for his daughter to manage File support on the CW units is solid.

Re: cw 700s
Price difference between CW700 and CW800 is $20-30. So, if you don't need the clunky PVR, I recommend getting the 700 and save your money It's the same receiver sans PVR. It has front USB port as opposed to CW800's back USB port. This makes it easier to upgrade firmware.

Re: cw 700s
i have cw800 and cw700. same box but the 800 can record to your usb stick. and it loads in the rear. i prefer the 700. it loads in the front. much easier.

Re: cw 700s
I've a 700 since March and wouldn't trade for anything else. She'll like it.

Re: cw 700s
You might like to look at a couple of other receivers too. CNX Nano is the same price with AWESOME support (top cardless support). SV360 Premier is also cheap and nice. I would go for a CNX Nano. I've never tried CW700 but the CW800 was a bit laggy in the menus.
