nfusion HD - ABA DSS

well i got it late last night with nfusion HD and a 8psk i started to unpack everything nice box and setup
here are some pics with some of my close friends last night we were all happy i got the reciever

next we took alokk at the 8psk really easy to put together the cables only go in one way go here are some more pics

then we installed the 8 psk there are 3 screws to take the top off of the infusion nice .. then we took the cables and put them on the 8psk first then we took out the plug in the uhf hole and placed the card in and put in the screw to hold it on place and the small nut .. then carefully connected the cables to the board with the ribbon it was a bit under the card reader but not to hard to get to .. but be careful not to break the card reader ..

note: i put a small nice and easy twist in the cable it will keep the ribbons down inside the case better

next we made sure the cable and ribbon have been nicely adjusted in the case and closed it up

and the guys cheered

YAH WHOO HOO !!!!

next we added the smal coax cable from uhf remote antenna to the if out and boom we are done .. time to hook up ..

so i am not going to go through all the hook ups as i have a motor and am still playing but i will add to this as i am figuring more things out for the motor setup but follow Creative G's setup it will help you there is a nice automatic setup for you on this reciever which will help you insetting up your reciever but i will take some pics of the screens and post them

all in all very easy to setup screens are nice and clean features work great and it changes channels very fast for a HD(some are a bit slow ) great pic and and the sd on it looks good too ..

now for the bad it right now is a little motor unfriendly and the sat file it not fully set up 123w which i love.. had no tp's and i could not find a blind scan so i had to enter them manually .. so in the next few days i will pull all the info off the reciever and see if i can edit the sat settings and make it more friendly the uscal and motor movements are smooth and the nice thing it does is automatically move to the sat while you are in the antenna screen nice touch most do not always do this ..
also i found that the usb recording and the ip are the bomb wow i love it works very well ..

If you can take a shot of the reverse side of the box ... showing the wiring (inputs/outputs) of the unit that would be great, numerous people have asked about this.

well guys i have figured out how to use the linear and uscals for the nfusion and it now will switch properly and also i use the nfusion 116 channel editor for updating and then added the galaxy 18 tp from my sv 8000hd and amc 21 for the 3 HD free to air channels takes longer but i added then and they are up to date blind scans .. really a bit of a pain but it will get you the english channel for some sats if you have a motor with the nfusion HD .. i edited and replace all the tp's that were not there at all ..

now all we have to do is bug the guys to put in a blind scan and then i would not have to do this LOL

Glad to hear you got the unit up and running with your Motor ... how do you find the pic compares to that of the SV8000HD?

What method did you elect to use for your Internet connection: Hardwired, Power Line Carrier adapters, or other?

My bet is that you'll enjoy the benefits associated with added uptime

Yes I have the cable from the 8PKS to the if out. I scaned again and I got the HDPPV channels starting at 535, but I do not get any of the non HD PPV channels or any of the channels at the 455 range. How can I scan to get these channels.

Hey arbor the Pvr works ok it records pretty good but there are a few recording i did in hd that the voices were no matching what they were saying, like delay.
