Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
This receiver is being sold by LavalSat (a known Viewsat Clone Seller).
According to what I've been able to find out, it utilizes the same files as the nfusion nova (I wonder if they know that) and I wonder how long they will allow it (if you know what I mean).
I'd stay away from LavalSat and this unit.
P.S.
Just in case there are a few non-belivers in the house
In an attempt to help limit the sale of cloned Viewsat Receivers, Canadian residents are urged NOT to purchase Viewsat products from these known/identified CLONE sellers:
*** BEWARE OF CLONE SELLERS ***
LAVALSAT , Laval Quebec
TRISON ELECTRONICS , Mississauga Ontario
ANGEL ELECTRONICS , Mississauga Ontario
This info was taken direct from the Viewsat web site, and is being posted here are a courtesy to ALL of our Canadian members/visitors.

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
Hey Mike Hello and Welcome to Aba. I understand that you may be happy with your receiver but you should thrust Creative, he has tons of experience with this and when you start having problems it will be too late, a clone is always a bomb waiting too blow up. Just my two cents worth.

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
When clone killer code is included in a new file to 'nuke' your receiver, you will not be very happy, of this I can assure you.
LavalSat is a bonified 'CLONE' seller ... plain and simple.
Your warranty won't mean much, when your receiver doesn't work anymore because the file you loaded fried your box.
Enjoy it while you can.

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
I bought a VS clone that was not supposed to be a clone by mistake on flea-bay. It worked for about 2 weeks, what a waste of time money and hair...

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
beware.........clones hurt the real companies.and sometimes 3rd party software is designed to kill clones.
always best to buy authentic brand names and not clones.
clones are illegal.and generally made in China.
you have been warned.

your not alone with your statement about nfusion sd units not having the best pic quality.
some people just want tv uptime over anything else is all.
iv never cared for nfusion either,so your not alone.not sure who scolded you for speaking your likes/dislikes about it.but feel free to tell others how it works for you.it may be the king of iks.but it's flaws should be known to everyone as well so they can make an informed decision.
no one here works for any of the manufacturers.

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
FYI , all who think about getting one of these units
This receiver is manufactured in Tunisia and is aimed at the european market;
The manufacturer originally manufactured to Phillips .
The surprise is that the unit is not sold in the country of origin.
It is for sure some type of clone even if the manufacturer did not intend it to be so.
Yes it is being used in North America with Fusion software. This may not be the case in Europe, its intended Market.
If you happen to own one, check the UK and french sites for all your software and trouble shooting needs;
The price was just slashed in Canada to less than 100 dollars US.
Happy shopping

Re: new receiver Doniasat 7000 IPPVR
What you guys haven't figured out is that Mike28 is actually Walid Tamouni and MOKHTAR MECHERGUI, the owners of Lavalsat. Thats why he's posting how good of a receiver this BS clone Doniasat is. Cause he's the importer.
