choice down to 3, i think
in my price range and if i understand the features right, the possible boxes for my entry into fta, sonicview 360, conaxsat nano, viewsat ultra 2, and maybe captiveworks 800.
any comments to which might be best? i've seen some reviews and polls, these are some things i'm most interested in:
- i want to record
- to eventually use the DisQq
- if possible, program a search/monitor for updates i will need, get them, and then with a script or similar push them down to my fta automagically, (or is that even worth it instead of just waiting until i find out i need to update)
but i have 1 question
- after recording on the 2nd or available usb jack, can the replay be played directly thru the fta box, or does it have to be reattached to another box?
thanks
bob

It can be played directly through the receiver.

Re: choice down to 3, i think
If you wish to record, you can forget the Ultra ... that one won't fit the bill.
You might want to consider the CW Ultima ... since you are interested in recording in a format that can be easily burned.
