Are there any HD Dual Tuner receivers out there? If so, what are they and how do you rate them? Thanks for any help

sonicveiw is gonna have one .......the 360 elite hd duel tuner...dont know when it will be out yet

yes the elite is a duel tuner.....

Sonicview 360 Elite is dual tuner but not HD. It enables recording one channel while watching another, but can not show 2 different programs on 2 TVs, at the same time.

Sonicview 8000HD is dual tuner but one tuner for satellite and on for HDTV.

Sonicview has the best dual tuner receiver. SV-360 Elite. I have one and it is a great picture.

Thank you all for the help.... for right now until a dual tuner hd receiver comes out, we are going with sonicview 360 elite.... hope that is a good choice.. I am sure I will be on this forum again for questions when we get it

what you after is not currently available on the market yet.

sonicview has plans of a future model 360HD unit.but release date is unknown/unset at this time.

for a nice high definition receiver,the sonicview hd8000 is a real sweet gem.

my cw4000hd comes with one tuner but you can add another, not sure the cost of tuner but its not cheap

I cant figure out why people are steering you away from The Sonicview HD8000 HD. Here is what i found out about it. PLEASE DO more research as i believe this will work for you.

The Sonicview 8000 HD is a kick %& unit!!!

I think, perhaps the looming N3 issue is keeping a few away from this receiver, given the changing state of things currently. Many feel this unit (the SV8000HD) offers the BEST pic quality of ALL FTA units ...

Yes I agree with CG. Most people are a little sceptical over the N3 problem and are awaiting the outcome of the whole situation. No doubt, once there is a fix for N3 all these people will jump on the band wagon and buy up what ever they feel comfotable with.

Some experts think that more powerful FTA receivers will be the first to support N3 and having one now is a good investment and will likely prove to have less downtime. (Sonicview 8000 HD).
PLUS: nobody mentions steering away due to N3 issue...they all just say Sonicview 8000 HD wont do what K wants but it will do ALL the things K asks
