Ok, I took a .mpg file I had on my system and I converted that file to a .ts file using video redo, I loaded that on my drive for the CS 7000 and the video looks great, the coolsat shows the name of the movie in the playlist, the audio although is not there. Does anyone know what audio has to be used to get it to play back on the Cs 7000 I have 2 of these things, I think that in the down time it is a great video player, so I thought what the heck, why not upload a bunch of videos I already have rather then making DVDS.

One other thing, I did purchase a WDtv adapter, updated the firmware in it and it sees the CS .ts video, but it says that the audio is channel 1 and it is unsupported. so, maybe the coolsat does something strange on the audio side. I can take the .ts from the coolsat and reencode it with video redo and it plays on the WD just fine, just would be nice if I didn't have to do that extra step!
