hi ..new to this site... can anyone help i was given a digiwave dg7000 but cannot get it up and running please explain..???? i am at a total loss...please help or give steps how to get it up and running and how to transfer files from pc to reciever ..thanks for all the help .

well there is not much support for this one.
might see a auto roll fix in a month or 2 (no joke)

you have to buy the cable first... then connect to your computer...
use the loader to flash the receiver to the latest bin.

but since last week you had to manully enter keys..... very ANNOYING !!!!
they sometime change the key every 30 min.......

i have a digiwave 7000 too. now i am considering suicide!

so if you are not into it yet, throw it away!!!!!

How to Upload New Script

You will need your computer, the CD and 9pin cable that came with your satellite system & email for this.
The first thing we need to do is download the file that was sent to you. Save the attachment to C:\Customer CD dg7000
Connect one end of the 9 pin cable to the computer, the other to the receiver.
Now open C:\Customer CD dg7000 and click FTLink3.01
Once properly connected, you should be able to press "Setup Comm" button try selecting com 1 first.
After doing the setup com port your ready to add the new script, click the "upgrade software" button, it will ask you for a file, find the file that was emailed to you and select it, then click the open button. The script will began to upload, it should take about 5 minutes. When finished let it sit for about 3 minutes.

How to change the keys

Start by pressing "Menu button"
Now scroll with the right directional button ( it is the button just right of the OK button) till you get to User Installation menu
Scroll down under the User Installation menu to System Settings, then press the OK button.
Now at the bottom left hand corner of the screen you will notice a hand pointing at a red dot, the red dot represents the red button at the bottom of your remote. Press this button.
You should now see "CA KEY LIST" at the top of the screen and below that you should see "Nagra" with <>. Now with your right directional button scroll till you see "Nagra2".
Now with down directional key move 1 space
Now with your right directional button press till you see "0001 DishNetwork"
Now with down directional key move 1 space and press OK
You should now see "Numeric Keyboard Dialog" this is where you will change the keys.
For this next part you will need your computer & the cd that came with your satellite system.
Place cd in computer and navigate to the folder named "NagraKeyGrabberProV1.2" click on folder. Now click on program inside of folder.
Make sure you are connected to the internet when running the program.
Once Nagra Key Grabber Pro is running click "grab keys" button
The program will return a series of numbers, the only numbers you are concern with are the ones on the left side. If you have a printer you can now press the "Print Keys" button.
The lines that start with 08 & 09 are actually one line, the same thing for lines 88 & 89 is one line.
You now ready to start inputting numbers, you will use the directional keys to put number in.
You must start with the 08 line first, the up and down directional button changes the number or letter, the right & left allows you to move to the next number or letter. After the 08 line now input 09 line continue till the end, press ok
Repeat step 17 instead of using lines 08 & 09 you will use lines 88 & 89.
That is all it is to changing keys, before long you will not need this how to.

hi, i have a digiwave 7200s, and i wanted to know what the latest file is for it to use with BEV cause i just loaded the bin file i found in the download section for digiwave 7200 and did the channel scan but it keeps saying scrambled, how do i load the bin file properly, please help!!

here's my problem:

how should my digiwave "antenna setup" look?
i received my captiveworks 600s premiums a few weeks back...whom ever doesn't own at least one, you are !

i have gone back to mess with my digiwaves - i try the settings in column I and get nothing:

i would appreciate someone taking twenty seconds to list their "antenna setup" (i.e., 1-fixed-echo119-normal-11250-12250-none-none-none) - anyone with a digiwave can do it, not just a moderator

You get any satisfactory answer to your inquiry. My DG7000 works great, just as good as my neighbor's Pansat 2800a. Only problem I have is with the Encore channels which worked great until about six or seven days ago. Now they are scrambled but other PPV channels "testing" OK. If I can be of help to you concerning the Digiwave, I would be available to try.

I bought two (2) for 25.99 each plus shipping/handling for a total of $109.95
I had trouble when Nagra changed (upgraded) to Nagra2. Nagra required a double set of 16 keys and the autoroll feature worked smoothly. Nagra2 requires two sets of 32 keys. There are Bin files out there (I have copies) that cured the autoroll problem and the last bin file installed an ON & OFF switch in the System Settings so now I "test" without problems except for
a new problem that cropped up just a few days ago. I "test" PPV sports regularly, and lots of other PPV channels. BUT, just a few days ago the channels Encore LOVE, MYESTRY, ACTION, WAN, WESTERN etc, all became scrambled. Looking for a "fix" on that.
Your question, "is the Digiwave any good" You can bet it is. Mine performs as well as the Pansat 2800a that my neighbor has. He could not get to his Autoroll switch so I taught him how to access. Was simple, just go to Parental control and click on second request for password (0000) and switch is at the bottom of menu that pops up.

hermanebb have you glanced at my dg7000 antenna settings (above) - i can't get programs to come right up when i select the channel - i have to work with it to get reception - is that just the way it is or do you have a better setup
