this service doesn't currently send a signal - ABA DSS

Hi All, I'm a new user of the Dream Box and a new member to this forum. I recently bought a DB 500 with a membership for 6 months. The receiver works perfectly well when tried in the shop. But at home it does not. It gets only some FTA channels and none of the crypted channels. The bouquets are pre-configured. I called the service provider and they attributed the problem to the internet connection I believe it is not as I managed to download add ons from the internet using my Dream Box.

Can you help me sort this out.. plz.

For info, I'm living in a flat with dishes system shared by all the bloc's residents. The system is made up of three dishes connected to each other with a switch.

Thank you boboisno for the welcome. To be honest I don't really know. I understood from the guard of the building that the dishes are pointing at three different sats. Being in the middle east one of them is certainly pointing at Nilesat. The same guard confirmed that Hotbird is also a sat that is pointed at.. Is there a way from my side by using my DB which sats can be clearly seen with the current configuration?

I was afraid you were going to say something like this. We only deal with North American sats here so I'm not sure we can be of much help, sorry.

Thank you any way for trying. Would you recommend any forum for issues linked to this region (I mean Dream Box wise) :-))
